Big 2020 Orlando Events

Orlando is a happening hub with hundreds of remarkable events held throughout the year – from festivals, to holiday celebrations and so much more!

Okay, so let’s talk holidays! Orlando rings in the New Year with The Magic Kingdom’s “Fantasy in the Sky” – an unparalleled fireworks display. Other amazing holiday festivities in Orlando include “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” at Disneyworld and Universal’s “Christmas in the Wizardry World of Harry Potter”. Then, don’t miss the laser show and “Fireworks at the Fountain” at Lake Eola with live music, a beer garden and a kids’ play area or the choreographed fireworks just 15 minutes from Orlando over Lake Baldwin. Halloween is filled with “Gators, Ghosts and Goblins” at Orlando’s Gatorland, Moonlight Walking Tours through Greenwood Cemetery in downtown Orlando and “16 Nights of Terror” with three haunted house mazes, hundreds of monsters and gobs of festive fare.

Then, there are the fabulous festivals held in Orlando all year long. There are far too many to list, so let’s just start with spring. You won’t want to miss the Winter Park Sidewalk Festival – one of the most respected art festivals in the United States just 20 minutes from Orlando. In April, there is the Spring Fiesta at Lake Eola Park and the Puerto Rican Parade and Festival – both which promise arts, entertainment and great food. May is time for Sea World’s Seven Seas Food Festival – which is food focused fun with craft beer bars and live performances from some of the top names in music. Plus, there is Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival with Disney themed topiaries, garden spaces, wildlife habitats and interesting demonstrations.

The list goes on and on, but that should give you a good start! Go ahead and check out some of the events in Orlando for some foolproof fun!
